The business areas in which Sumelzo, SA operate are mainly focused on the civil engineering sector, with a presence throughout Aragon and surrounding communities. 

Originally, the company was mainly involved in hydraulic works, but has recently diversified into different sectors, expanding in those areas it had historically been involved in. 

The strategic plan for the coming years is to maintain its presence in Aragon and the surrounding areas, and provide public administrations and companies and private customers, in the agricultural, livestock, industrial and services sectors, with the same type of works it has carried out to date, while also including new works such as:

 

CLEARANCES AND DEMOLITIONS Excavation, draining, terracing, earthworks, slope stabilisation	ROADS  Improvements, renovation of urban crossings, rural roads, forest trails and municipal by-passes.	WATER SUPPLIES AND PURIFICATION  Channelling, collectors and rainwater storm tanks.
SUPPLY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF BREAKWATERS  Forming dykes in rivers and canals, channelling and cleaning river beds, emergency works.
